    I have been buying theses sauces since first tasting at Carfest where they had a stall about 6 years ago my daughter and I buy them between us because of the value for money when you buy so many.     We just love these sauces ! After trying a tiny spoon full at a food festival years ago we have not stopped ordering them. The red wine and Madeira we usually have with gnocchi and it’s just to die for with double cream. Our meals will now centre around having at least 1 a week. Wild mushroom over sausage and mash with onions is a game changer!

It’s absolutely lovely. We have it with pork and red onion sausages but have had it as a pour over sauce with pork fillet or chops with mash and veg. Its’ rich creaminess is sublime.

    I’m not usually one for sauces, I just could never find one I liked, they’re all usually too peppery, alcohol tasting, tomato based etc, so was a bit wary when I decided to try this at Bishop Auckland Food Festival a couple of years ago. I fell in love!! This was so creamy and flavoursome and not like any of the things I didn’t like! It became a firm favourite in our house and made us venture into trying other SA sauces, as well as gifting them to family at Christmas too.
    Only trouble is, it’s too good, I could eat it everyday!
