    This has to be my favourite sauce, I have bought these a lot as they make a really easy meal. I’ve used it with pasta and also with chicken or sausages. Lovely with cream or with low fat cream cheese.

    We’ve tried about half the sasauces product range and love every single one so far, but you have to stick a review against a single product so I chose the Red Onion and Madeira. It’s absolutely lovely. We have it with pork and red onion sausages but have had it as a pour over sauce with pork fillet or chops with mash and veg. Its’ rich creaminess is sublime.

    I’m not usually one for sauces, I just could never find one I liked, they’re all usually too peppery, alcohol tasting, tomato based etc, so was a bit wary when I decided to try this at Bishop Auckland Food Festival a couple of years ago. I fell in love!! This was so creamy and flavoursome and not like any of the things I didn’t like! It became a firm favourite in our house and made us venture into trying other SA sauces, as well as gifting them to family at Christmas too.
    Only trouble is, it’s too good, I could eat it everyday!
